Well tonight is going to be a quick one I think. I'm really tired and I have to be up early in the morning to go to the Vatican.
First things first though. As promised -

I made a major error last night and for some reason didn't put my earplugs in and didn't get much sleep. Mainly because the Chinese were up all night plotting something on their laptops. I'm sure they are spies. What else is weird is the fact that they have also brought a mini rice cooker with them. It wouldn't be the first thing on my list to pack. Unless it's not a rice cooker and maybe some sort of espionage tool.
It's started over cast this morning and rained quite heavy. I thought the trip to the coliseum might be a bit of a wash out, but we decided to risk it and walk down anyway. The risk paid off and just as we got there it stopped and started to brighten up. It got really hot again later on. I've just realised I didn't get a picture of the outside - but here's two of the inside

Afterwards we went for a quick bite to eat and an icecream before splitting up again later to go get our evening meals. I went back to the hostel again and it was pizza tonight which was a nice suprise.

After my pizza I walked back down to meet the girls who had trumped me in food top trumps. Becky had seafood pasta and Lou had lobster. We took a quick walk back to the coliseum to see it at night and got some nice postcard shots stood infront of it.
Sorry it's been so short, but I really do need to get some sleep.
Night night. Don't buy the bedbugs bikes - or something like that.
Lovin the blog mate, I love Rome, the Vatican is awesome, you'll live it. Castle st angelo is good too which is across the road. Also don know if you've been yet but piaza navona is really cool to, it's where the four rivers fountain is which us impressive. Enjoy the rest of the trip mate and a happy belated birthday. Peace
