I decided to eat breakfast in the hostel today, which in hindsight, I should have done yesterday as-well. It's a bit random but only cost €2.50. It consists of; a slice of cheese, a boiled egg, jam and 3 slices of toast + a cup of tea.

It's been nothing but rain and thunder stormes today so it's been a bit of a wash out. I still went out on the bike though. My waterproof walking trainers came in very handy, and I bought a cheep mac yesterday so that came in useful, although they didn't help in keeping my legs from getting soaked.
I cycled to a place called Begijnhof which is where the oldest houses in Amsterdam are and was a place for girls who didn't want to stay in a convent (or something like that - google it). You enter by going through a unmarked door and it opens up into a very quaint courtyard with a church.

The pictures doesn't show much I'm afraid.
After begijnhof I took the bike back and because I took it back before 12, it cost only €9 euro instead of €12 which was a plus.
I then set of just aimlessly walking around Amsterdam. I went down the main shopping streets and got previtions

Please note the fruit!!
Right! I'm off to catch my train. You should hear from me again in Munich, but if not it'll be Venice.
Byyyyyyyeee!!
